Henry T. Skelton earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin, Texas in 1971 where he served as Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review. While at The University of Texas, Henry was awarded the following honors: Member of The Order of the Coif and Consul for his high attainments in the study of law and his distinguished record of student leadership coupled with outstanding personal service to the program of the law school.
Henry also tied for the highest score on the 1971 State Bar examination. He further served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Wayne Justice. He earned his B.A. from Baylor University in 1964. In 1989, he was awarded membership in Phi Delta Phi and has previously been recognized by the Supreme Court of Texas for his service as a member of the District 1 Committee on Admissions.
Henry was admitted to practice in Texas in 1971 and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Texas Courts of Appeal, Texas Supreme Court, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
